Signing up
What signing up means
Plain answers about independence, ownership and leaving, before you register.
For your church
You stay independent
Your church owns its content, its members and its settings. Candlestick provides the technology, not oversight. No other church will see your members or private content, and Candlestick staff won’t either in normal running.
Your teaching is your own
Candlestick doesn’t decide what any church teaches. Your church chooses which content to switch on.
What you get
The features in your package, your own address and app, updates, backups and support at your package’s level.
What you provide
Your church’s details and branding (name, logo, colours), your service times and locations, and the content you want to share. We send a checklist when your church is approved, so you know what to have ready.
What you pay
A one-off onboarding fee, then a monthly or yearly subscription and any paid add-ons, all invoiced by Candlestick. On Standard and Full, the storage fee covers storing and streaming your recordings.See pricing. How late payment and cancelling work will be set out in the terms.
Leaving
You will be able to download all your recordings and export your data at any time, and close your account. After you close it, your data is deleted after a stated period, and we confirm when it’s done.
For your members
One account
A member has one Candlestick account for every church on Candlestick they join. Each church approves its own members.
What each church sees
Only the profile details a member shares with that church, and their activity in that church.
Control
A member can leave a church, download their data, or delete their account.
